Sarah Amanda (Cox) Hooberry was born on February 1, 1853 in Davidson County, Tennessee, the daughter of Ann Genetta "Nettie" (Hulan) (Cox) Davidson (ca 1829-1923) and her 1st husband George W Cox, who was born about 1828 in North Carolina. Sarah's parents were married on March 22, 1848 in Davidson County.
Living at 2100 9th Avenue North in Nashville, Sarah was 91 years old and a widow when she died at home on August 12, 1944. Burial was two days later in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
