| Birth: | Nov. 16, 1862 | | Death: | Dec., 1968 | Centenarian. Annie Narramore was one of thirteen children although in 1966 only she and her 90yr old brother Tom were still living. At the age of 13 she left school and went to work first as a maid in a hotel then as a calico weaver for a firm in her home town of West Ham, London. At 27 she got married and moved to a house on Plaistow where they brought up two children. When her husband died, she moved to Hayes, Middlesex, to live with her daughter Mabel Dunsdon in Coldharbour Lane where she spent the last thirty four years of her life. Articles about Hayes' oldest resident appeared in the local newspapers of 1966, 1967 and 1968 on her birthdays when she reached the grand age of 106. Once she reached the age of 100, she received a telegram each year from HM The Queen.
