Obituary.

Died, Saturday, Nov 26, 1893, of old age, Samuel Fletcher, aged 90 years, 5 months and 3 days.

The deceased was born in Franklin county, N. Y., June 29, 1803. At the age of 21, Oct. 9, 1934, he was married to Miss Maria Doty.

Mr. Fletcher was the father of eleven children, two of whom preceded him across the dark waters to the home beyond, and none of whom still remain to mourn his loss.

For a number of years he has made his home in that of his son, David Fletcher, in Lake City. A man of strong constitution, he never had known what sickness was, and when the final summons came, it was but the giving way and stoppage of old, worn out physical machinery. He had served more than the allotted three score years and ten, and passed away without a struggle or twinge of pain, simply falling asleep.

While the parting with loved ones always brings sadness and sorrow, it is not for us to mourn the departure of one so old.

Card of Thanks.
We desire to return our sincere thanks to the friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us in our late and sad affliction. Mr. And Mrs. D. D. Fletcher.

IS THIS the correct cemetery where he is interred?
