Mrs. Vaughan dies at age 83
Mrs. Carrie Ruth Vaughan, 83, New Bloomfield, died Tuesday evening at St. Mary's' Health Center following a short illness.
She was born near Nebo, Ill., on March 21, 1892, the daughter
of H. N. and Mary Klinard Durall. She was married March 20, 1918 to J.W. (Bob) Vaughan, who died in 1962.
Mrs. Vaughan was a member of the Christian Church at
Survivors include: Two sons, Donald Duff , Columbia, and Eugene "Cotton" Vaughan, Fulton; one brother, Arthur Durall, Topeka, Kan., and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Dry
Fork Baptist Church west of Guthrie. The Rev. J. W. Hall
will officiate, and burial will be in the Dry Fork Cemetery.
