LEVELLAND — Services for Harold B. Combs, 83, of Levelland will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jesse Hodge officiating.
Burial will be in the City of Levelland Cemetery under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors of Levelland.
He died Wednesday, June 6, 2001.
He was born March 21, 1918, in Healdton, Okla., and married Emma Laura Cole on Nov. 29, 1939, in Levelland. He had been a member of First United Methodist Church since 1938, where he was a teacher of youth and served on the administrative board and numerous committees.
He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army Air Force and, following his service, began a career in sales. He retired as a financial adviser for IDS in the mid-1980s.
A son, Harold Jr., preceded him in death.
