Mildred M. Barlage, 81, formerly of State Route 66 South, Ft. Loramie, died at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at Wilson Hospital, Sidney.

She was a resident of Heritage Manor, Minster for one and a half years.

Mrs. Barlage was born Feb. 4, 1926, in Newport, daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Broerman) Bergman. She married Virgil F. Barlage on July 20, 1957, and he preceded her in death Feb. 8, 1987.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Barlage was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Edwin.

She is survived by a brother, Oscar Bergman of Minster, and 11 nieces and nephews on the Bergman side.

She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie; St. Anne Rosary and Altar Society; and Apostleship of Prayer of the Church.

She retired from Copeland Corp. in Sidney in 1989.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Catholic Church, Ft. Loramie, with the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating.

Burial will be at St. Michael Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Minster.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church.
