Birth: Jul. 8, 1861
Death: Oct. 11, 1937

Henry S. Brenneman was born July 8, 1861, and died at the home of his son, Archie Brenneman, October 11, 1937, aged 76 years, 3 months, and 3 days. Mr. Brenneman had been a sufferer from the infirmities of old age for a number of months before his death. He had been a farmer for many years in the community in which he died. He was a member of Zion (Shaffer's) Reformed Church for many years, and as long as health permitted, was a regular attendant at its services.
The funeral services were held on Thursday morning, October 14, 1937, from the home of his son, Archie Brenneman. On account of the rebuilding of Shaffer's Church all the services were held at the house. The funeral text was Psa. 90:9. Burial was made in the new cemetery at Shaffer's Church.
