He is survived by his life partner, llla Musselman of Altoona; daughter, Trina and husband Scott Adams, of Eustin, Fla; two sisters: Karen Weigand of Altoona, with whom he resided, and Gail and husband George Thompson, of Altoona; a brother, Thomas and wife Brenda Myers, of Chest Springs; a step-sister, Kim Basal of Ashville; and three grandchildren: Joe, Kristen and Scotty.
He retired in 1988 as a bartender at the Cordial Lounge, Altoona, with 16 years of service. Mr. Myers graduated from Altoona High School.
A funeral service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, at Jones Funeral Home, Altoona, with the Rev. Warren Cravotta officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Jones Funeral Home.
