Birth: Oct. 3, 1870, Russian Federation
Death: May 18, 1941

California, USA

Martha is the daughter of Pavel Andreevich Ivannikov (1828-1914) and Akulina Pavlivov Ananskya (1843-1919). Her parents were born and deceased in Russia. There were eight known children: Pelageya, Martha, Charles, Dimitri, Mary, William, Marina, Pavel. Martha's parents were married sometime between 1850 and 1860.

Martha married Jacob Steven Cheechov (1865-1943) sometime before 1885 in Russia. There were nine known children: Mary, Steven, Anna, William, John, James, Nicholas, Katherine, and Jack. All of the children were born in Russia and the entire family immigrated to America from Russia in 1913.

The 1920 U.S. Federal Census shows the family living in Klamath county, Merrill township, Oregon on a farm. Jacob rented the farm and all of the older children were laborers on the farm.

By 1930, the family was living in Elmira Township - Solano County, California. Jacob and Martha were the only ones at the census address. It shows Jacob was 20 years old when he married Martha and she was 18 years old.
