Jonathan Dodge (1822-1902), son of Capt. Grover Dodge and Lydia Brown, was b. Hopkinton, NH. He m. Jerusha Edgerly (1823-1914), in 1846 and moved to Manchester, NH in 1863 where he manufactured cotton goods and supervised the mills. They had 4 children: Lizzie M. (m. C.D. Boynton), Emma Frances (1850-1947, m. Chas. F. Good), Charles Grover (1862-1921, 1. below), and Nellie B. When he retired, they moved to Concord, NH. 1. Their son, Dr. Charles Grover Dodge (1862-1921), b. in Hopkinton, NH studied to be a dentist at Boston Dental College and practised in Manchester until moving to Helena, MT in 1891 where he was the leading dentist of the city. He m. Minnie E. Ricker (1866-1945) in 1884 and was a member of the Masons, the Elks, the Knights of Pithias, and Woodmen of the World. He d. in Deer Lodge Co., MT.
