Funeral services were conducted for Mrs. O. L. Durham at the Hargis Baptist Church Sunday, August 16, at 3 p.m. Mrs. Durham passed away Saturday, August 15, after a lengthy illness. She had been confined to her bed for several months after an operation some time ago.

Conducting services was Rev. J. O. Payne, pastor of Hargis Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. Wayne Durham, Montgomery pastor. Burial was in Hargis Cemetery under direction of Edmonds Funeral Home.

Mrs. Durham was a lifelong resident of Hargis Community, and a devout member of the Hargis Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Marcine Durham, Mrs. Robert Guin, Montgomery; two sons, Elmer of Oak Grove, Reginald of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. E. C. Jackson, Sr., Mrs. Ebb Reeves, of Montgomery, Mrs. Iley Killingsworth, of Liberty, Texas, one brother, Tom McIlwain of Montgomery; six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were nephews, including Linton Durham, Malcolm Durham, Otho Deen, Lowery Reeves, T. J. Jackson, and Karen Killingsworth.
