On June 15, 1917, Frank completed his WWI draft registration in Hamilton County. It indicated that he was born in Gallatin County, Missouri on May 26, 1888. His dependents were a wife and 4 children and they lived in Broad Ripple, Marion County.
In 1920, Rosella and Frank were living in Clay Township, Hamilton County. They had 5 children. Alfred and Albert, who appear to have been twins, were age 9. The other children were Helen, Clyde and Carl, who was just 7 months old. Also living with them was Frank's father, Jacob. All of the family members were born in Indiana except for Frank, who was born in Missouri. Frank's mother who was deceased had also been from Missouri.
In 1930, the family was living on Mud Creek Road in Lawrence Township, Marion County. In addition to the children listed in the previous census, they had a son, Robert E.
Frank and Rosella's son, Robert, died in 2007. His obituary lists his brothers and sisters. It also records his mother's name as Rozella, but the stone is inscribed as Rosella.

Robert Eugene Barmore was born in Hamilton County on December 25, 1928 to the late Frank and Rozella Hoover Barmore. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brothers, Albert, Alfred, Clyde, Carl and Edward Barmore; sister, Helen Anderson. Survivors include [clipped] a brother, Frank Barmore.
