Aunt Nellie was a wonderful person to be around. You never call her Ellen it was always Nellie. She was married twice. Once to John Jay Brewster for about 51 years and then in her 70s she met and married Jerry Longstreth.
Her parents were Charles and Dorothy(Wiseman) Kent, they met and married in England and had Nellie. Nellie had five brothers Charles,Jack,Bill,Wes,and George and one sister who came at the end of the bunch Dorothy.
When Aunt Nellie married Uncle Jay he was a widow with four children whom Nellie help raise as her own and then they had 6 more of there own. Then she also raise two grand children on top of that. She was a quite a lady.
After Uncle Jay passed away, she met and married Jerry. She was married to him for 10 years before he passed away.
She is going to be well missed in this family.
