She was the suspected daughter of Justus & Nancy Pitman Bennett, possibly a native of Orange County, NY. In 1790 her suspected father is in the census for Chemung, Montgomery Co., NY. Married Jul. 1, 1796 at Warwick, NY John Truesdell of that Town (53 years of marriage). Was the mother of 10 children, 4 living to maturity, 4 dying as teenagers and 2 as infants and 36 grandchildren. Settled in Big Flats about 1815. She lived her last years at her grand daughter Caroline Breese Breese' in the Town of Elmira, NY.

Perhaps named her son for suspect brother "Josiah Bennett Truesdell"
Some of her suspected siblings named daughters "Esther".

According to "The Whitney Family of Connecticut" book by Henry Whitney printed in New York 1878 Page 181 under 725 John Truesdell it says her parents are William and Deborah (Titus) Bennett.
Re-researched and found Wm & Deb to be born in 1700/1701 marrying in 1730.
