Joe Satterfield, age 100 of Eaton, OH passed away Sunday, December 02, 2007 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, OH. He was born June 29, 1907 in Hartwell, GA to the late Perry Duncan and Pearl Lee (Key) Satterfield. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Eaton, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dorothy Mae (Folk) Satterfield, who passed away October 26, 1956; sons Joseph Mark and James Satterfield.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Wanda and Bob Byrne of Eaton, OH; daughter Jo Ann Manson of Camden, OH; son Stephen Satterfield of Vallejo, CA; daughter and son-in-law Martha and Dale Waymire of Greenville, OH; daughter and son-in-law Andrea and David Parlier of Warsaw, IN; daughter and son-in-law Leah and Rick Lewis of Arivaca, AZ; 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.

Burial will be at Mound Hill Union Cemetery with a private graveside service at the convenience of the family.

Your sister Berta was my grandmother. I never had the pleasure of meeting you though I do remember my grandmother speaking of you fondly on several occasions. Rest in peace sir.
