A familiar saying is 'you can measure a man by the head count at his funeral'. His overflowed into the other rooms and spilled out people who loved him.
Bob was married to M. Anabelle Tucker on Nov. 6, 1946. They had 3 children, Tom, Judi and Craig. Bob's parents were William Walter Alexander and Caroline (Carrie) Ernestine Bippes. He grew up in Boise. He was living in Nevada working in mining & construction when America entered World War II. Bob joined the US Army & served in both the European and Pacific theaters. He owned Whitney Center Service, a Phillips 66 station, on the corner of Vista & Overland in Boise where he worked with his brother Jim for more than 46 years. He was a member of the Boise Elks, Capital Post, American Legion and the VFW.
