William Dean Johannes, was born April 24, 1933, at home to his parents Wilhelm Heinrich Jakob and Ida Marie Clara (Lindhorst) Johannes, in Webber, KS.

He attended grade school 1-8 grade in Webber. He graduated from Superior High School in Superior, NE., in 1951.

He served his country in the U.S. Army 1953-1955. He then was employed by I.B.M in 1956 retiring from there in 1992. He was baptized into the Christian Faith in his home on May 6, 1933.

He was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on May 6, 1948, at Centennial Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage to Clara E. Everhart, on December 1, 1956 at Centennial Lutheran Church in Superior, NE.

Bill found joy in his love for all his family, serving the Lord and his church for many years as a trustee. Woodworking, especially in making crosses and nativity items. Also making toys for his grand and great grandchildren. He loved working the soil in his yard and garden and observing the miracle of growing things.
