In 1945, she married actor Rex Harrison, moved to Hollywood and appeared on Broadway in the play ''Bell, Book and Candle'', where she co-starred with Harrison. For feature films, she was most noted for staring in ''Cloak and Dagger'' (1946), "Body and Soul" (1947), "The Long Dark Hall" (1951) and ''The Four Poster''(1952).
