His obituary was published in the Vidette-Messenger, Valparaiso, Indiana 17 March 1980. David Nicholson. PORTAGE- services for David A. Nicholson, 51, of Phoenix, Ariz. who died Thursday, will be at 10 am Tuesday at Olson Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Titko officiating. Burial will be in McCool Cemetery. Visitation is until 9 P.m. today and on Tuesday.
Nicholson is survived by his wife, Mary: three sons. Ronald of Portage, Orville of Hobart and Michael of Lake Station; a sister, Betty Snyder of Portage; and three grandchildren.
