Elias G. Adams
93, of Juniata, died at 10:15 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 1981 in Mercy Hospital, following a brief illness. Mr. Adams retired as a car builder from the Juniata shops of the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1953. He was born Feb. 24, 1898, in Juniata, the son of Jacob and Lydia Adams, and in 1937, married Edna E. Hale. Surviving are his wife, four children, Elias G. Jr. of Columbia, S.C.; Lydia Potts of Lancaster, Anne Shoop of Hollidaysburg and Joseph C. of Gaithersburg, Md., and 11 grandchildren. Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata.
ADAMS-Services for Elias G. Adams of Juniata will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, by the Rev. Donald Burchfield. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday in the funeral home.
