Olympic skier. In 1954 she was the youngest member of the FIS team. She was first alternate on the 1952 U.S. Olympic ski team and was on the 1956 team. In 1962 she established the Steamboat Ski School and was its first ski instructor. She was inducted into the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame in 1984. She was the widow of former Heisman Trophy winner and Football Hall of Fame member Doak Walker.
