( From the GREEN BAY ADVOCATE, February 25, 1864. p. 2)
In Lawrence, on the 17th inst., Mrs. MARY WEBSTER, aged 54 years. The deceased had been for many years, an intelligent and devoted christian, an exemplary member of the christian church. She had clear and adoring views of the Divine character as revealed in the sacred Scriptures.--Consequently, her religious faith was distinctly and decidedly Calvinistic, which bore abundantly the precious fruits of patience, meekness, gentleness, forbearance, charity, submission, and joy under the diversified trials that were laid so numerously in her pathway through life. She delighted in the holy and wise Providence of God which extends to the minutest affairs of human life making things work together for good to his true children transforming them into the image of his own dear son. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. Yea saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them."
