He was the son of Willie T. Anderson and Carrie (Caudill) Anderson of Rock Fork. His wife was Ethel (Mauk) Anderson. He was a farmer and raised his family on Island Fork in Rowan County, Kentucky.
Jessie was Rowan County Jailer, serving two terms. He worked for Local 1445, when the Tennessee Gas Plant was built on Route 377. He was a former employee of the Morehead Utility Plant Board. He was of the Church of God Faith. Jessie enjoyed hunting,fishing horses and cattle.
