Sonya M. Fultz, 39, of Middletown died Tuesday, November 11, 2003. She was born in Springfield, Ohio on June 21, 1964 to parents Norman and Nobuko (Nakamura) Carter.

She was a Quality Control Engineer for the General Motors in Moraine. She graduated from Wright State University and she had performed in the National Hula Hoop Championship. Sonya was very involved in her boys activities and loved them very much.

Sonya was preceded in death by her father, Norman Carter and her grandparents, Phyllis & Ben Taylor.

She leaves two sons: Dustin and Devin Fultz of Middletown; one sister: Phyllis Carter of California; Former husband, Phil (Becky) Fultz of Middletown; stepmother, Carol Carter of Springfield, Ohio; stepbrother, Steve (Renee) Southward of Springfield; stepsisters, Debbie (Steve) Moebius of Myrtle Beach, SC and stepsister, Becky (Matt) Buckley of Springfield; niece, Mandy Fusion; niece, Angel Fuson; nephew, Jesse Barr; special friend, Mary Daniels.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 14, 2003 at 7:00 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home with Reverend David Colp officiating. Visitation will be Friday, November 14, 2003 from 5-7 PM at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. at Bonita Dr., Middletown.

Interment will be at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle, Ohio.
