Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Friday November 23, 2007 at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, for Clinton M. Cleek, 65, of Cambridge, who died Tuesday (Nov. 20, 2007) at Southeastern Med, Cambridge. Military services were conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
Mark Beros officiated.
Mr. Cleek was born Feb . 12, 1942, in Grundy, Va., son of the late John Joseph and Edith (Hall) Cleek.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He retired as a production superintendent in the oil and gas industry and was a member of the Byesville VFW.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Tallmadge and Haskel; and two sisters, Phyllis and Ruby.
He leaves his wife, Teressa (Hogan) Cleek of the home, whom he married Feb. 27, 1974; a son, John (Kara) Cleek of Senecaville; two daughters, Emily Cleek of Cambridge and Tina Sinnett of New Market, Maryland ; two brothers, Ron Cleek of New Philadelphia and Sam Cleek of Tennessee; two sisters, Rita Sabens of Indiana and Mildred of Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Stone and Victoria.
