Joseph Adams Jr.
Joseph Adams Jr., 62, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at his residence. A native of Port Arthur, he lived in Winnie for the past 40 years.

Joseph was formerly a Medical Laboratory Technologist for several physicians in Winnie. After obtaining his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Lamar University, Beaumont, he pursued his career as Hospital Administrator in Anahuac. He was presently Business Manager for South County Physical Therapy Inc. in Port Arthur. Joseph served in the United States Marine Corps.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Tinker Adams of Winnie; daughters, Traci Stewart of Winnie, and Kimberly Truman and her husband, Bill of Houston; sons, Clint Stewart and his wife, Tobi of Pecos, and Richard Jason "R.J." Adams of Dallas; brother, Carlos Adams and his wife, Leah of Groves; sister, Patricia Orozco and her husband, Edward of New Orleans, Louisiana; grandchildren, Devin Cryer, Katherine Truman, Madeline Truman, Jillian Stewart, Bryton Stewart, Hadyn Stewart and Sarah Truman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Adams and mother, Frances Adams.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer Dr., Winnie with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday evening at Broussard's, 134 W. Buccaneer Dr., in Winnie, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM.
