John L. Hulbert Dies; Services Here Sunday
John Logan Hulbert, 87, of 712 South 24th street, died at 9 p.m. yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Myers Chapel.
Friends may call at the Myers chapel after 4 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Hulbert was born July 17, 1879, at North English, Ia., the son of Lyman and Jennie (Walton) Hulbert.
He was a retired railroad engineer.
He was first married to Laura Mannen who died July 4, 1927. He was married Oct. 25, 1929, at Benton to Gladys Malone who survives.
Other survivors:
Two sons, Alva Hulbert of Sterling, Ill, and Burrell Hulbert of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Helen Irwin of Sterling; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
