ROCKDALE — Services for Bernice Lee Rodgers, 80, of Lexington are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Lexington Faith Temple Church in Lexington.

The Revs. Jane Moybia and Joe Baucom will officiate. Burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Mrs. Rodgers died Saturday at the Taylor Care Nursing Home in Taylor, Texas.

She was a lifelong resident of Lexington. She worked as a nurse at the Hennesey Nursing Home in Giddings and later for Brewers Feed Store in Lexington. She was a member of Lexington Faith Temple Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bethel Warren Rodgers.

Survivors include a brother, George Williams of Elgin, Texas; two sisters, Jerryliene Terrell and Faye Crim, both of Elgin; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other relatives.
