Rev. Henry Weston officiated. He was BORN 7/30/1909 in Milam Co. to M/M. Charlie E. & Amanda E. Robbins Taylor. Married Gladys Muston 11/30/1939 in Lexington. He was a self-employed mechanic for 40 years retiring in 1982. Preceded in death by 3 brothers, E.C. Quinney, F.D. Quinney and C.F. (Rusty) Taylor; sister, Jesse Epp; and his parents. A 35-year member of Lexington Volunteer Fire Department and was fire chief for many years. Member of Woodmen of the World's Lexington Lodge. SURVIVORS: Wife, Gladys Taylor of Lexington; daughter, Pat Lerche of Lexington; brother, B.R. Taylor of Lexington; 2 sisters, Myrtle Elser of Santa Fe and Margarette Brademan of Austin; 2 grandchildren.
