A 35-year member of Lexington Volunteer Fire Department and was fire chief for many years. Member of Woodmen of the World's Lexington Lodge. SURVIVORS: Wife, Gladys Taylor of Lexington; daughter, Pat Lerche of Lexington; brother, B.R. Taylor of Lexington; 2 sisters, Myrtle Elser of Santa Fe and Margarette Brademan of Austin; 2 grandchildren.
