Mrs. Hartley died Monday in Chesterfield, Mo. She was born June 12, 1938, in Louisville, Ky., to the late Vincent and Myrtle Vogel and had lived in Chesterfield for the past five years, where she was a secretary for Parkway Central Junior High School. Mrs. Hartley lived in Tyler from 1978 until 1989, and was a secretary for Birdwell Elementary School and a member of Pollard United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Olin Hartley, Chesterfield, Mo.; two sons, Timothy E. Hartley, Dallas, and Todd S. Hartley, Fort Worth; and one daughter, Kari L. Hartley, Chesterfield, Mo.
Pallbearers will be Byron White, Al DeVinney, Ken Hardesty, Denning Key, Marty Perry and Steve Schmidt.
Family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
If desired, memorials may be made to St. Luke's Hospice Care Program, 232 S. Woods Mill Rd., Chesterfield, Mo. 63017, or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 130577, Tyler.
