Zina ROUSE, 63, Rt. 4, Rochester (Tippecanoe Shores), died at 5:20 A.m. Monday at Pulaski Memorial Hospital, Winamac, following a short illness.
Mrs. Rouse was born April 17, 1917 at LaFollette, Tenn., to John and Maggie POSTON STOOKSBURRY. She had lived in Aubbeenaubbee Township since 1974, moving from Hammond. She was married May 3, 1935 at Tazeville, Tenn., to John H. ROUSE, who survives.
Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Miss DeLois ROUSE, Hammond, and Mrs. Zina Mae YARDLEY, Wichita, Kan.; four sons, Jerald John ROUSE, Hammond; Dennis ROUSE, Hebron; Danny ROUSE, Topeka, Kan.; and Anhony ROUSE, at home seven grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha HATMAKER, Portage; Mrs. Lucille OAKS, Mrs. Bernice HUNTLEY, and Mrs. Jessie HEWITT, all of Andersonville, Tenn.; six brothers, Rush, Delbert, Roy and Robert STOOKSBURRY, all of Lansing, Ill.; Claude STOOKSBURRY, Highland; and Harley STOOKSBURRY, Andersonville, Ten.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Bonine Funeral Home, Culver, with the Rev. Walter J. HAMELINK Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today.
