William Wainscott, better known as Uncle Bill, died Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Thompson, near Hesler,. He had been in declining health for several months, but his condition became serious some three weeks ago.
Mr. Wainscott was 70 years old and lived his entire life in Owen County. He was a man of quiet disposition, unassuming in in manner and was liked by everyone who knew him.
Besides Mrs. Thompson, he was survived by another daughter, Mrs. Sid Beckham, and two sons Lonnie and Raymond Wainscott, all of this county .
