Tragic story. Jerry Cassaday began an Internet relationship with one Sharee Miller (who lived in Flint, Michigan) that turned into a sexual affair.
Miller manipulated Cassaday into murdering her (third) husband, junkyard owner Bruce Miller, with a shotgun.
She then began to freeze Cassaday out. Cassaday committed suicide but left enough evidence behind to ensure that Miller would be caught.
On Jan. 29, 2001, Genesse County Circuit Court Judge Judith Fullerton sentenced Miller to life in prison for the conspiracy charge, and an additional 54 to 81 years for second-degree murder.
The case has been profiled on "American Justice" and several Court TV programs.
Miller has recently been granted a new trial and, unbelievable as it sounds, is not only out on bail but is engaged to be married again!
