Ruth Inez ‘Bobbie' Langdon Jackson, 77, formerly of Jeffersonville
Funeral services for Ruth Inez "Bobbie" Langdon Jackson, 77, formerly of Jeffersonville, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, at Coots Funeral Home, 120 W. Maple St., Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Sunday, May 13, 2007, at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Franklin.
Born in Pineville, Ky., she was the daughter of Sim and Letty Jackson Langdon.
Survivors include her children, sons Thomas A. Jackson and his wife, Linda, McCleary, Wash., John C. Jackson and his wife, Christine; Indianapolis, Ronald E. Jackson and his wife, Debra, Indianapolis, M. Stephen Jackson and his wife, Deborah, Port Orange, Fla., Joseph R. Jackson and his wife, Lula, Indianapolis; and daughters Susan K. Yagher and her husband, Charles, Ormond Beach, Fla., Judy L. Bowling and her husband, Charles, Beloit, Wis., and Tammy L. Gagliano, Franklin; a brother, Tim Langdon, Jeffersonville; sisters, Dora Isgrigg and Dolly Wheeler, both of Jeffersonville; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John, Alfred and Noah Langdon; and sisters, Ida Botkins and June Langdon.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17.
