Cecile was born April 13, 1919, at Worcester, Massachusetts, to Joseph and Lydia Lambert. On April 26, 1940, she married Ernest Ellis at Seekonk, Mass. They moved to Blair, Nebraska in 1977.
Cecile M. Ellis, 85, of Blair, Nebraska, died Thursday, May 27, 2004, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, May 29, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home in Blair. There will be no visitation.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ernest; daughters and sons-in-law, Beatrice and Bill Gouhler of Butler, Penn., and Judy and Dave McGillvray of Hawthorne, Nev.; sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest D. and Pamela Ellis of Blair, and Charles and Jane Ellis of Omaha; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rita Andersen of New Hampshire and Teresa Rivera of North Providence, R.I.
She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
