Formerly Was Connected With Department Stores In Paragould
Louis Thomas Edward Cole, 64, died at his home on Lake Street Road at three this morning following a stroke suffered yesterday. He has been bedfast for serveral weeks.
For many years he had been connected with department stores in Paragould, formerly with Bertig's and later with Graber's store. He was a native of Gainesville and had lived his entire life in Greene County.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock at the Fourth Avenue Pentecostal Church, conducted by the Rev. John McLaughlin, with burial following in the Center Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Flo Cole; two sons Ray and Carey Cole, two grandchildren Eugene and Carra Mae Cole, a brother Elmer Cole and a sister Mrs. Walter Livesay all of Paragould.
