Junior J. Feldkamp
Clinton -- Junior Jay Feldkamp, 57, of 501 Railroad St., Clinton died Wednesday morning at University Hospital in Ann Arbor.
He was born Sept. 14, 1922, in Clinton to August and Hattie (Nurse) Feldkamp. He married Margaret Garrison Aug. 31, 1946 near Clinton. She survives.
Mr. Feldkamp was a life-time resident of Clinton and a graduate of Clinton High School in the class of 1944. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. He was employed as a millwright at the Budd Company in Clinton and a member of the Pieper Hall-Starks, Post No. 176 of the American Legion in Clinton.
Suriving besides his widow are two sons, Robert of Saline and Douglas at home; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Megan) Phillips of Norfolk, VA; his mother, Hattie Feldkamp of Clinton; a brother, Donald Feldkamp of Clinton; a half sister, Ruth Bellmore of Bellevue, Iowa; and five grandchildren.
Sevices will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Proctor Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. David Seigle officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton, where sevices will be conducted by Pieper-Hall-Starks, Post No. 176, of the American Legion of Clinton. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 this evening.
