Rosetta Ann Sevier, born 23 February 1868 in Missouri, was the daughter of William E. Sevier and his wife, the former Lucretia Jane Atwell. Her father was born in Illinois and her mother in Kentucky.

After spending her childhood in Cole County, Missouri, the family moved to Macon County where Rosetta's father died in 1885.

She married Augustus Louville "Lou" Teter, son of Josiah and Sarah Jane (Teter) Teter in 1889. They had four children:
Bessie Mae (1890-1920)
Henry Clay (1892-1958)
Josiah (?-before 1900)
Minnie (?-before 1900)
Rosetta and Lou were divorced before 1896.

On 21 August 1896, she married William Richard "Buck" Wallace in Excello, Missouri. They were the parents of at least seven children:
Maggie May Wallace (18971964)
Rose Belle Wallace (18991986)
Georgeanna Wallace (19031965)
John Thomas Wallace (1906?)
Leroy Wallace (19071907)
Margaret Lucretia Wallace (19081979)
Mary Ionia Wallace (19151994)

Rosetta died 4 August 1919. Her youngest child Mary Ionia was only 4 and was adopted in August of 1923 by Elmer and Fannie Sears.

[Note: Teter Family Cemetery records indicate burial of Rosetta Teter but her name at the time of her death was Rosetta Wallace. No marker was found in October 2007.]
