Robert L Lukes, 66, was formerly a molder at the Iowa Valve and later owned Dean's Cigar Store in partnership with Frank Beach and then Raymond Allison. He retired about five years ago and had been confined to his home by illness most of that time.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie and three sisters: Mrs. Rose Kessler, Mrs. Alice Fitzgerald and Mrs. Kate Yaffee.
