A well known member of the "WLS BARN DANCE" He was the original "Ramblin Jack".He sang with the greats, Gene Autry,Rex Allen,Tex Ritter,Bob Atcher,and many,many more. With the outbreak of World War II he enlisted in the US Army,and went on to become highly decorated including the Bronze Star with Valor Attachment.

He did not return to entertainment after the war. He married and went on to found two local Boy Scout Chapters, and was charter President of the local chapter of Lions Club of America. He was also a life-time member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Special note to Dad:

Dad, going through life now I understand what you tried to accomplish, and the road you had to take. I am so very, very proud of you. You will always be my best friend. 'Til the end of time. Rest easy, Dad.
