She was born in Argyle, Ky, daughter of the late Egbert and Nellie Gifford Adams. She was a former employee of First State Bank and former owner and operator of Lois' Food Market. She is survived by two sons, Robert & (Lottie) Trowbridge and Rodney Trowbridge, both of Eubank, one daughter, Barbara Trowbridge of Eubank, two grandchildren, Matthew Trowbridge and Kyle Trowbridge, two step grandchildren, Elaine Hall and Corey Adams. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Trowbridge, her parents, two brothers, Matt Adams and Marvin Adams and two sisters, Vera Mercer and Artie McMullin.
