Ellen E. Ambrosier 87, died Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Southwest Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 13, 1916, to Irvin M. and Bashie L. Armstrong Fetterolf in Webster.
She married Arlo A. Ambrosier on June 3, 1937, in Hill City. He survives.
She graduated from Stockton High School, Stockton, in 1937. She was a housewife. She was a member of First Christian Church and Christian Women Fellowship. She was a member of Girl Scouts of America, True Friend Club, Antelope Valley Club and the VFW Auxiliary and the Sodde Society. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, quilting, sewing and many other crafts and was an accomplished gourmet cook.
Other survivors include two daughters, Faylene Cambern and husband Charles Liberal, and Kaylene Freeman and husband Vance, Goddard six grandchildren, Ellen Banister and husband Daryl, Augusta, Shawver and husband Martin, Douglass, Rathbun, Wichita, Pittman, Douglass, Freeman, Wichita, and Michelle Weisgerber and husband Matt, Wichita two step-grandchildren, Ryan Cambern and Cambern and wife Erin, Dallas, Texas six great-grandchildren, Joshua Banister, Augusta, Jered Banister, Augusta, Sally Shawver, Douglass, Shawver, Douglass, Rathbun, Wichita, and Montgomery Rathbun, Wichita.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, one sister, and one daughter, Anna Arlene Ambrosier
