Michael A. Sullivan, 51, of Worcester, died recently at St. Vincent Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Worcester. He worked many years at S & D Spinning in Millbury. Michael left his mother, Dorothy M. (Westaver) Sullivan. He left three brothers: Richard, Mark and Scott. He also left four sisters: Susan Hine, Deborah Dedmon, Mary Sullivan and Andrea Streeter, and many nieces and nephews. He left one son, Russell Toedt of Worcester, and a daughter, Nicole. His funeral was held on Sunday, November 27th, from 1- 3 p.m. with services held at Graham, Putnam & Mahoney Funeral Parlor at 838 Main Street, Worcester. Burial was at the convenience of the family.

I babysat for Michael and his siblings(except for Andrea, because she wasn't born yet)when they were young. He was a wonderful, kind and quiet young man and was very sensitive. He was the oldest in the family and was a friendly, thoughtful child. Even when he seemed not to be paying attention to something, he would surprise you, commenting on it. I remember one particular night after the kids were safely tucked into bed and all was quiet, I was picking up the living room. Michael got up to use the bathroom and asked why I was doing that. I told him that his Mom would be happy when she got home, seeing that she didn't have to do it herself. He just smiled and went back to bed.

Throughout the years, I had lost track of him and his family but have always carried them in my heart. He had a wonderful kind and loving mother.

Michael's brother-in-law Stephen P. Hine died on January 1, 2006.

Michael's father, Richard P. Sullivan, died on July 31, 2006. He had left the family many years ago and remarried.

Michael, I know that you are now free from troubles and cares and happy in God's Great Paradise. Watch over your loved ones who hold you so dear to their hearts, until you meet again.

Love Always,
Susan
