"The Paris News", 5 Feb 1947. Ill at home some time, Malcolm W. Cleere, 69, of 447-26th NE, died there Tuesday at 7 p.m. A resident of Lamar County 45 years, he was a retired mechanic. Brown-Roden Funeral Home has charge of arrangements, the Rev. A. L. Lusby, Methodist pastor at Caviness to officiate at Mount Tabor Church, with burial in Mount Tabor Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Charles L. Williams, Harve L. Pierce, George Dodson, Wirt Buster, Ross Braden and Oscar L. Williams. . Time for the service had not been determined, awaiting word from relatives out-of-town.
Mr. Cleere was born in Russellville, Ala., Sept. 23, 1877. He was a member of the Christian Church. He leaves his wife, who was Miss Lou Tennie Click, and these children; Mrs. 0. L. Williams, J. W. Cleere, Mrs, Wirt Buster, Duane Cleere, J. G. Cleere, W. R. Cleere, Austelle Cleere, and Mrs. H. R, Burke.
