Fredrick W. Fly
Fredrick W. Fly, 55, of Parkersburg passed away Nov. 26, 2005, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 16, 1950, in Roderfield, W.Va., a son of Jessie G. Adams Fly of Princeton, W.Va., and the late John W. Fly. Fredrick was employed at E.I. DuPont-Washington Works for 28 years, where he was senior mechanical engineer. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, a member of the VFW, a member of the Knights of Columbus and was Catholic by faith.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rosa Parsons Fly; three children, Gina Marie Fly of Charleston, Fredrick W. Fly II of Parkersburg and Angela Rose Fly of Charleston; four grandchildren, Lauren Nicole Groseclose, Amber Rose Russell, Patience Anastasia Rose Fly and Laura Cheyanne Pittman; one brother, John W. Fly Jr. of Asheville, N.C.; three sisters, Selma Johnson of Jacksonville, N.C.; Teresa Roahsey of Avington, Va., and Janet Santome of Valrico, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green Street, Parkersburg. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m., and noon until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
