Martin Gilman Bauer Born September 3, 1932, lost his battle with a year long illness on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at his Tucson Arizona home. Martin was born in Allegheny, PA and moved to Tucson with his family at an early age. Martin was enlisted in the US Air Force at Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ from 1952 until 1956. Martin was employed by Tucson Electric Power for over 30 years before retiring as a Control Room Switchboard Operator. Martin is survived by his daughter, Cheri Lynn Aronstein (husband Eric); step grandchildren, Richard and Rebecka Aronstein; daughter, Alex Anita Curtis; grandchildren, Cole, Evan and Lauren Ellingsberg all of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by a niece and nephew and many cousins. Martin is preceded in death by his father, Martin Luther Bauer. Mother, Mayme Watson Tribble and sister, Bernice Lewis. A viewing will be held Friday October 26, 2007 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at SOUTH LAWN MORTUARY , 5401 S. Park Ave. Services will be held Saturday October 27, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. also at South Lawn with interment to follow at South Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Martin's name to Odyssey Hospice of Tucson.
