BARBARA LEE HOLLIDAY 80, of Springfield, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Community Hospital. She was born October 12, 1925 in Alderson, West Virginia the Daughter of the late Clark & Gladys (Morgan) Alford. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon K. and husband Richard Knott of Springfield; sons, Charles E., Jr. and his wife Connie Holliday of Springfield, Paul David and his wife Garnet Holliday of New Carlisle; Stephen L. and his wife Bernadette Holliday of Springfield; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and two more expected; four sisters, Dorothy Schlegelmilch, Doris Hudson both of Elk Grove, California, Betty Goodwin of Lewisburg, West Virginia, and Patricia Keeler of Delaware, Ohio; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles Holliday, Sr., two brothers, Harry Alford of North Pole, Alaska and Donald Alford of Seebring, Florida. Family will receive visitors from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday February 22, 2006 at the funeral home. Entombment at Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the New Carlisle First Baptist Church Hand Bell Choir.
