Bankston this Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the chapel of Harry G. Poole. Interment in Hollywood.

The Atlanta Constitution - 1/12/1924 - BANKSTON - Mr. R. R. Bankston died Friday afternoon in the 55th year of his age. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. J. S. Keel, Jr., Mrs. H. C. Bunch, Mrs. L. R. Ogle; two sons, Messrs. Porter and Tillman; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph Jeffries, Mrs. T. C. Coursey and Mrs. T. Seals. The remains were removed to the parlors of Harry G. Poole. Funeral and interment will be announced later.

Note: Mr. Bankston was a pedestrian - he struck by one and then was struck the other - Street car and auto both involved. Severe concussion and contusion of brain. Have death certificate. Mr. Bankston died at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia.
