Broadway actress and singer Dolores Gray was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was in the play Destrey Rides Again, and even won a Tony Award for Carnival in Flanders. She signed a contract with MGM, and was in It's Always Fair Weather, Kismet, The Opposite Sex, and Designing Women.
