Katie Katherine was born in Kentucky the daughter Jesse Ratliff and Mildred Spencer. On October 1, 1938 she married Arlie Tackett the son of Chatman "Chat" Tackett and Penola Howard. Their children are; Arlie Leroy Tackett, Charles Tackett, James Paul Tackett, Bernard Ray Tackett, Lloyd Tackett, Floyd Tackett and Stella (Tackett) Hamilton.
